Sydney-based photographer Lester Jones has worked on a photo series for the past three years capturing the grind of daily life and examining the human condition.

The series 'Their Grind Not Mine' by Lester Jones takes place in several cities over the course of three years. It’s an exploration into the psychology of the daily-commuter and an intimate examination of the human condition.

Each image conveys the emotions of anxiety, fatigue and stress; which can often times be a result of the “grind.” This series is designed to invoke a positive reflection, as when we see this state in others around us it empowers us to decide whether we want to be a part of this universal malaise or not.
